ACCRA, Ghana (April 3, 2025) - Ghanaian Award-winning music star Black Sherif released his highly anticipated sophomore album "Iron Boy" today, marking another milestone in his career. The album release coincides with his ambitious global tour kicking off tomorrow in Washington D.C., signalling the artist's expanding international presence.
Born Mohammed Ismail Sharrif, the musician has delivered a 15-track collection running approximately 43 minutes that showcases his signature blend of Ghanaian Highlife, Afrobeats, hip-hop, and trap music. The album, "Iron Boy" explores themes of emotional depth, personal struggles, and triumph over adversity.

"The Victory Song," produced by Dystinkt Beats, opens the "Iron Boy" album with themes of overcoming challenges, establishing a recurring motif throughout the project. Another track generating significant attention is "Where Dem Boyz," which many interpret as a commentary on industry hypocrisy, potentially revealing a more confrontational aspect to Sherif's artistry.
The album release has been supported by three music videos for the tracks "Rebel Music," "So It Goes," and "January 9th", each with distinct visual storytelling directed by different filmmakers including Babs Direction, Olu The Wave, and David Nicol-Sey.

"The Iron Boy Tour 2025" begins its North American leg on April 4 at the Howard Theatre in Washington D.C., followed by stops in Boston, MA (April 5), New York, NY (April 6), Chicago (April 9), Toronto, ON (April 12), Los Angeles, CA (April 17), and concluding in Columbus, OH (April 19).
The European portion of the tour commences on May 2 in Birmingham, UK, followed by London (May 3), and will include performances in Dublin, Amsterdam, Cologne, Hamburg, and Paris, before concluding on May 17 in Brescia, Italy.
