"Egwu" Music Video by Chiké and Mohbad

Chiké, a popular Afro-pop and soul artist, recently unveiled the music video for his new hit single ‘Egwu.’ Released on December 15, 2023, the song is a heartfelt collaboration with the beloved artist Mohbad, who sadly passed away in September 2023.

The video, directed by Pink of Pinkline Films, made its debut on February 28 and has already captivated audiences, amassing over 1.8 million views.

‘Egwu’ was created as a duo with Mohbad before his untimely passing, showcasing their incredible artistic synergy. The song serves as a moving homage to Mohbad, celebrating his remarkable talent and ensuring his musical influence lives on.

Behind the scenes, the seasoned producer DeeYasso, who has previously teamed up with Chiké, masterfully shaped the track. He infused it with a unique blend of Afro-pop and soul, enriched by the vibrant rhythms of Amapiano, creating a sound that’s both fresh and familiar.
