US-based Ghanaian gospel music icon Jesse Morgan has released a new song titled, "Wataban." The song features acclaimed gospel musician and songwriter, Celestine Donkor.

The stunning visuals, directed by Director Abass, premiered on YouTube (Feb. 10, 2023) and is available below. The word "Wataban," which means "Your wings," serves as a reminder to Christians to cling to their faith and always seek the protection of the creator.

Jesse Morgan explained in an interview with Joy Entertainment that, "the inspiration of this record stems from Psalm 91, but also, Isaiah 40:31 promises a supernaturally renewed strength that would compare to mounting up as an eagle or running without fatigue." It’s never over until God says it’s over. "I've made this conscious decision that I’ll forever dwell in the shadow of God, where I’m secured in safety."

"Wataban" captures a blend of powerful vocals from Jesse and, Celestine Donkor, who did justice to the song with a catchy "ewe" verse.
