Keeny Ice Releases New EP "Sound Check"

Ghanaian Hip-hop/Hiplife performing artiste, Amu Barnabas, professionally known as Keeny Ice, has released "Sound Check,"  a four-track (4) EP that is now available for streaming and download across all digital music platforms. 

The project embodies growth, originality, and a deliberate choice to make music available to everyone, regardless of age, gender, or class. More significantly, it provides the last response to issues on the minds of the voiceless. The artist blends English and Adza, his local dialect, in his songs to convey his message.

"Sound Check" is Keeny Ice's second EP after a successful debut with "Border Vibes" Ep in 2021, which details his path as a dedicated musician from the Aflao slums pursuing global prospects through music.

In this new project, the rapper provided his fans and listeners with a novel experience by expressing his feelings and mental condition via skillfully prepared lyrics, the majority of which were penned by him. 

KeenyIce - Sound Check EP

Keeny Ice's first single, "Adam and Eve," with legendary Ghanaian artist Castro, of blessed memory, served as his official introduction to the music industry, and the response has been phenomenal ever since. "Sound Check" EP was released on May 26th, 2022, and featured artists like Camidoh, and Hairlergbe.

The musician has also collaborated and worked with other renowned artists including, Edem, Kofi Kinaata, and Victor AD from Nigeria, among others.
