Ghanaian rapper, singer, and songwriter, Black Sherif, has just dropped his eagerly awaited single, Soja. The track follows his viral hit, Kwaku the Traveller, which resonated with both local and global audiences, topping charts in Ghana and beyond. Produced by Joker Nharnah, Soja is now available for streaming and download.

According to credible sources, Soja will feature on Black Sherif’s debut album, The Villain I Never Was, slated for release on October 6, 2022. The album is set to include 14 tracks, adding to the excitement surrounding the young artist's first full-length project.

In Soja, Black Sherif delivers a powerful message about resilience and vigilance. He encourages listeners to be like soldiers, always prepared to fight internal and external battles. The lyrics emphasize the need for mental strength and readiness: “...see this flag waving... penned down in a bloody war, Soja." The BET Hip Hop Awards, hosted by Fat Joe, will take place on September 30, 2022, at the Cobb Energy Center in Atlanta, US.
